At Food Ease, we offer personalized, weight-inclusive nutrition counseling and therapy designed to help you break free from food struggles and cultivate a healthy, positive relationship with your body. Our compassionate dietitians and therapists work with you to build sustainable habits that promote well-being—no diets or weight loss goals required, just real support.

How We Help:

  • Improve Health Without Restriction: We focus on enhancing your well-being through balanced nutrition without relying on restrictive diets or weight loss targets.
  • Intuitive Eating: Learn to confidently trust your body’s hunger and fullness cues, making food choices that support your overall health and happiness.
  • Heal Your Relationship with Food & Body Image: Develop a positive, non-judgmental attitude towards food and body image, leading to greater self-compassion and respect for your body.
  • Reduce Obsessive Food Thoughts: Our approach helps decrease food-related anxiety, freeing you from constant thoughts about what to eat or how much.
  • Detach Worth from the Scale: We help you shift your mindset, so your sense of self-worth isn’t tied to the number on the scale.

Meet Your
Registered Dietitian:

With extensive experience in eating disorder treatment centers, Emily Edelson, MS, RD created her private practice to maintain meaningful, therapeutic relationships with clients. Drawing from both her background in public health and nutrition, as well as her lived experience with an eating disorder, she fosters deeper connections by helping clients address stress, shame, and body image concerns.

Emily’s approach is rooted in the Health at Every Size philosophy, offering weight-inclusive care that focuses on health-promoting behaviors, rather than restrictive dieting. She integrates techniques such as self-talk reframing and body image distress strategies to empower clients to find peace with food and comfort in their bodies

As a queer, mid-sized, and neurodivergent individual, Emily recognizes the importance of her intersecting identities and continually explores them to better support clients with similar experiences. She advocates for body acceptance, believing that everyone, regardless of size or shape, deserves to feel comfortable in their skin.
